Big Bear, California Forest Wedding

Why get married in a chapel? How about a forest instead? Introducing mr. and mrs. madril, they “did it in the woods” and even though that was their hashtag… they literally got married in the forest in big bear, California at a wedding at a venue called into the woods big bear! It was pure magic, the cabins, the forest, the octagon arch and family just joyous at the occasion.

We started at a local airbnb that was less than 10 minutes away from the venue. The weather was amazing, sunny California sunshine and cool temperatures. As we progressed through the day, the lighting became soft and golden, the dance floor became busy and the bride and groom were so so happy!

My favorite weddings to shoot are the ones outside in nature, there’s nothing better than getting married on a mountain top, near the shore or even in a vineyard! I’m just a southern California wedding photographer who craves shooting weddings outside (can you blame me)!
