California Ranch Wedding

When you think of a “Desert” wedding, do you think of a Indio, California Ranch Wedding? I don’t, but you would be amazed at how many amazing Ranchero’s there are in the Coachella Valley. I was excited when I realized I’d be shooting a Indio, California Ranch wedding! It’s just a 45 minute drive past Palm Springs. Our couple was & is very much in love, and so good at making sure we had a great time while we captured their their wedding day! From the Church ceremony to the party at Rancho Alvarado, their family came from far and wide to celebrate their love! We started the day with Mariana at her home as she was getting ready with her daughter. We displayed her dress on an arch her brother had made for their wedding. We quickly drove after to the ceremony site being held at Sacred Heart Catholic church and met Jose.

Some of my favorite weddings are the ones that add the beautiful, ceremonious traditions such as communion and placing wedding flowers with Mary! This entire day was filled with so much joy, and we are honored to have captured it for our Bride and Groom! We especially loved working with the band “Avenida Music” , Chef Ivan’s Private catering and the DJ! Congratulations to the Newlyweds, and we cannot wait to shoot another wedding at Rancho Alvarado!
